Faith-filled Environment is a Stepwise stream that gives participants the opportunity to explore the challenges of the environmental crises facing the Earth and all her peoples. You will be able to consider the science, the place of your faith and your church in amongst these realities as well as to look at various ways forward, such as mission, campaigning and action.
The Faith-filled Environment stream consists of ten sessions that you will begin once you have completed the introductory session. The sessions are as below:
- Introducing the different aspects of the stream
- The Bible in the Church
- The Environment and Justice Issues
- First Nations People and their different understanding of creation
- Worship and Lament
- Mission 1
- Mission 2
- The Church’s Response and Campaigning
- The Place of Hope
- Concluding the Stream – including a “Climate Café” ®
